TAILGATE IN KIMSEY
Our
tailgate will be
on the 4th floor of the Kimsey Athletic
Center at the south end of Michie Stadium.
However, we won't
have access
to the room until halftime
of the game.
Fortunately, the
room's glass wall overlooks the field
so we won't miss much of the action
as we set up tables, fire up our crock post, etc. There are tables and chairs, food set up tables, and
power outlets, but no ovens for heating food.
We
will be sharing this very large room with the A Club
reception, and will set up our food tables, etc., at
the west end of the room (end closest to Randall
Hall) ... the A Club will be at the other end.
This game always attracts a large crowd, and we
certainly want to uphold Army Lax Parents' tailgate
reputation, so let's pull out the stops in both
quantity and quality on Saturday.
We
need help with the set-up and clean-up at our home
game tailgates.
A
reminder about tailgate etiquette.
Parents and guests wait to start eating until the
team has been fed. We can start on the appetizers
and beverages, but we wait on the main courses.
Also, the Gatorade is reserved for the players only.
Finally,
Coach Alberici and the USMA Administration request
that alcoholic beverages not be consumed at Army
Lacrosse tailgates.
We
guarantee to our host that
we will return the tailgate venue to the condition
in which we found it. Please
help us clean up after
this tailgate
so we can honor our guarantee.
