In response to the e-mail concerning Chris Larsen and the info below, I had the privilege of visiting Chris at Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC) today about 1 PM. Both hands are injured but he seemed in good spirits which was undoubtedly helped by the presence of his wife and his parents being here with him. He is receiving excellent care. He is looking forward to getting back to active duty.
Chris was wounded on Friday Aug 17th, arrived in Germany on Saturday and arrived at BAMC the evening of Tuesday, Aug 21st.

For all of you guys who have been around a few years, mostly the Firsties, Chris Larsen ’05 was recently injured in Iraq. From the information I have been given, it was small arms fire that injured his hands. It is possible that he may lose a few fingers, but that is the extent of his injuries. Right now he is in Germany and will soon be shipped to San Antonio. If you want to drop him a line or what ever his email is Christopher.mateer.larsen@us.army.mil . All you guys that know him know how tough he is, but he would probably appreciate hearing from you. See you this afternoon.
